📌 Overview
Modules control how review content is displayed on your product pages. This article covers the different module types available and how to enable or disable them for a specific product.
💡 When Might You Want to Use This?
- You want to choose which module type displays on a product page.
- You need to turn a module on or off for a specific product.
📋 Module Types
From the Products tab, the Active Modules column includes an info button explaining each module type:
| Module | Description |

| Mini Module | A compact video layout designed for high-visibility spots. Perfect for above-the-fold placements, such as right below the Add to Cart button, to capture attention without taking up too much space. |
| Large Module | An expanded video layout that showcases star ratings, reviews, and filtering options. Ideal for full-width placements further down the page, like just above the review section, where customers are exploring more details. |
| Single Review Module | A simple pop-up player that highlights one video at a time. Great for pages with fewer than three videos, where showcasing individual reviews makes the most impact. |
| Shade Quiz | An interactive quiz that helps customers find their perfect shade match. Note: this module is not configurable in the client portal at this time. |
🪜 Step-by-Step Instructions
Option 1: From the Products List
- In the left-hand panel, click Products.
- Find the Active Modules column for the product you'd like to update.
- Click the dropdown and select a module: Single Review Module, Mini Review Module, Large Review Module, or Product Quiz.
Note: For the correct module to display, the placeholder in your site's code must contain the correct ID. Refer to the Hue Technical Implementation Guide for details.
To disable a module, click the X next to the selected module type in the dropdown. This removes it and disables the module on the page entirely.
Option 2: From Within the Product
- Click into the product you'd like to update.
- Navigate to the Product Information tab.
Here you can view and manage additional product details, including variants and images. Just below the product name, you'll find the same Modules dropdown available from the main Products list — use it to select or disable a module the same way.
🛠️ Troubleshooting
I selected a module, but it's not showing up live on my page
- Check that the correct ID is being passed into the placeholder in your site's code.
- Confirm the correct module type is selected in the portal.
I'm not sure which module to use
- Use the info button next to the Active Modules column for a quick reference on each module type, or see the table above.
The Shade Quiz module isn't configurable
- This is expected — Shade Quiz isn't currently configurable within the client portal.
