This article explains how to sync your Shopify catalog into the portal.
Overview
The Shopify sync feature allows you to import your entire product catalog directly from Shopify into the backend system.
⚠️ This feature requires API configuration before use.
Prerequisites
Before syncing, you must:
- Configure the Product Sync API
- Add your Client ID and Client Secret
- Save credentials using the Add Shopify Token window
Steps
1. Open Import Window
Click Import Products.
2. Select Shopify Sync Option
Choose Sync with Shopify.
3. Confirm API Setup
Ensure Shopify credentials have been added correctly.
4. Run Sync
Click Sync with Shopify to begin importing your catalog.
Result
All products from your Shopify catalog will sync into the portal.
Important Usage Note
Shopify sync is recommended only when:
- You are managing a large catalog of actively used PDPs
It is NOT recommended when:
- You only activate a small subset of products at a time
In those cases, it is better to:
- Import individual products manually
- Keep the portal clean and more organized
- Avoid unnecessary catalog clutter
