📌 Overview
The Asset Gallery is where you manage all of your imported content — reviewing, approving, and organizing assets before (and after) they go live on your site.
💡 When Might You Want to Use This?
- You want to review content awaiting approval.
- You need to check what's currently live on your site.
- You want to find or filter specific content by creator, product, or characteristics.
🪜 Getting Started
- In the left-hand panel, click Asset Gallery.
This opens the main Asset Gallery screen for your store, where your content is organized into six tabs:
- Approved
- Draft
- Rejected
- Needs Admin Review
- Needs Changes
- Admin Rejected
Searching and Filtering
- Use the search bar to find content by creator or tagged product.
- Use the sort dropdown to view content by newest or oldest upload date.
- Click Filters to open a panel where you can filter by gender, pronouns, age range, skin tone, skin type, lip color, eye color, shoe size, and other creator characteristics. Select your criteria and click Apply Filters.
Filtering only works for content where the creator's profile includes the relevant tags.
📁 Understanding Each Tab
| Tab | What It Means | What You Can Do |
|---|---|---|
| Approved | Content that's already been approved and is currently live on your site. | No action needed — this content is live. |
| Draft | Content still awaiting approval from your team or Hue's team. | Click into the review and use the status dropdown next to Settings to change its status to Approved. |
| Rejected | Content marked as rejected by your team or Hue's team — typically because it didn't fit your needs or you'd rather it not appear on your site. | Click into the review and select a new status (Draft, Approved, or otherwise) if you change your mind. |
| Needs Admin Review | Content pending approval from an admin on your team or Hue's team. | Update the status using the dropdown, same as other tabs. |
| Needs Changes | Content that requires updates before it can be approved — either from an admin or from the creator. Each review is labeled with whether it needs an admin change or a creator change. | Make the noted changes, then update the status once it's ready. |
| Admin Rejected | Content that's been rejected specifically by an admin. | Update the status at any time if the decision changes. |
🛠️ Troubleshooting
I can't find a specific asset
- Use the search bar to look it up by creator or tagged product, or apply filters to narrow down results.
I changed a review's status but don't see the update
- Refresh the Asset Gallery screen — status changes should reflect immediately.
Filtering isn't returning the results I expect
- Filters only apply to content where the creator's profile includes that information. If a creator's profile is missing certain details, their content won't be included in that filter.
